Brick Church staff members are hired having taken into consideration the requirements of the position and the candidate’s skills, abilities and previous work experience, among other criteria. Managers will interview candidates and check references before an offer is made. Some positions require financial and criminal background checks, depending on the nature of work. Social Security numbers and identification are verified. Failure to provide valid legal documents will result in the offer being rescinded and employment terminated. For those employees having contact with The Brick Church School, fingerprinting is required to verify that there is no prior history of child abuse, etc.
