Park Avenue Tree Lighting
Generally held on the first Sunday in December, our congregation and neighbors come together on Park Avenue in front of the church steps for words of remembrance and celebration and a rousing Carol Sing with our community. The tree lights are thanks to contributions to the Fund for Park Avenue.
Strawberry Festival
Each year, Brick Church shuts down 92nd Street for the All-Church Picnic and Strawberry Festival. This event counts among the congregation’s favorites with its fun atmosphere and great food. It’s a great opportunity for members to enjoy live music, great food, games for kids and conversation with friends and neighbors.
Be sure to join us for the annual Brick Church Strawberry Festival which takes place on 92nd Street between Madison and Park Avenues.
Summer BBQs
The warm weather of summer brings these much-anticipated annual events to The Brick Church community. As part of the church’s summer ministry, barbecues in the Garden offer members fellowship, fun, and of course, delicious food. It’s a chance for the congregation to come together to discuss faith and life, while strengthening friendships and developing new ones. Be sure to join us for a New Member Barbecue in the Garden.
Women's Association
“Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others.” — Philippians 2:4
The women members of the Brick Church constitute The Women’s Association, founded in 1920, whose mission is to provide services and support to the Church, to encourage fellowship and spiritual growth within the Church and to provide in-reach to members and outreach to those in need in our community.
Events include the Fall Fling, Church Fair, Christmas at The Manse, Dinner Dance, Lenten Bible Study, Annual Meeting and Spring Luncheon, Spring Rose Garden Cocktail Party, and Parents’ Morning Out.
Kids on Wheels
Join the Brick Church Kids on Wheels! Preschool age children and their parents are invited to join "Kids on Wheels" Saturdays from 1:00 - 3:00 PM in Watson Hall. Bring your scooter or just yourselves to be part of this meaningful time of community, open to all families in the church and school!
Men's Association
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” — Psalms 133:1
The Brick Church Men’s Association unites men in fellowship, discipleship, outreach, and evangelism to uphold the mission of the Brick Presbyterian Church. We seek to meet the needs of the men of Brick Church, cultivate Christian brotherhood, and nurture strong and healthy friendships based on our shared Christian values. We encourage engagement of all men, promoting activities to bring us together in support of our church and service to our community.
Events include golf outings, fellowship dinners, breakfast discussions, and barbecues.
Breakfast Discussions
The Men's Association at Brick Church sponsors monthly Breakfast Discussions for the entire Brick Church community. Men and women come together once a month for breakfast featuring a guest speaker who moderates a lively and interactive discussion. Topics have ranged from Ukraine to Afghanistan, from the Pentagon Papers to Prisons and Policing, from Comedy to Cybersecurity.
